Rootstech 2023

RootsTech is a yearly conference that brings together genealogy enthusiasts, family historians, and industry professionals from around the world. The conference is held annually in Salt Lake City, Utah

Rootstech is Mar 2-Mar 4, 2023 in person in Salt Lake City, Utah, or virtually from wherever you are!

What is RootsTech?

RootsTech is an event that celebrates family history and genealogy. It is an opportunity for attendees to learn about new tools, technologies, and research methods in the field of genealogy, as well as to connect with others who share their passion for family history. The conference is organized by FamilySearch, a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to preserving and sharing family history around the world.

What to expect from RootsTech 2023

RootsTech 2023 promises to be another exciting event for attendees. The conference will feature a variety of keynote speakers, workshops, classes, and hands-on activities. Participants can expect to learn about a wide range of topics related to genealogy and family history, including DNA research, historical records, digital preservation, and more.

One of the highlights of the conference is the Expo Hall, which is home to hundreds of vendors and exhibitors. Attendees can browse the latest products, software, and services related to genealogy and family history, as well as connect with industry experts and other enthusiasts.

RootsTech 2023 will also feature a number of special events and activities. These include keynote speeches by well-known genealogy experts, as well as live performances and entertainment. There will also be plenty of opportunities to network with other attendees, meet new people, and share your own family history stories and research.

I was hoping I would get to attend in person this year, but things have conspired against this, so I will be attending virtually (again). I am looking forward to it, it is the one genealogy event each year I do not miss! You can sign up here.

After you are signed up you can add things to your playlist so they will appear in your schedule during Rootstech.
